What did you like about your stay in the property or location?
It is quiet and my room was good. It was accesible by public transport. Overall, I felt the price point was very good for Jersey in the high season. I would stay there again.
What did you not like about your stay in the property or location?
Breakfast was spartan -- room for improvement. Not sure if it is feasible, but having common cooking facilities would be a huge improvement.

Excellent communication with Dom. Quiet place at this time of the year.

Couldn't connect to the Wi-Fi at the farest places of the building (despite not being personally in continous need to be online, just needed to check some messgaes and timetables) Shower might need a better cleanliness.

Location, bit of a trek but worth it. Tea& coffee facilities. Decent bed. Black out curtains. Good views of Gorey Castle (Room. No.6) towels provided, good room size. Comfy chairs to relax. A grand piano!!! It’s certainly got potential. Enjoyed my stay, breakfast included which was okay with friendly, helpful staff. 👍

2 days no housekeeping (but okay!) No TV (didn’t matter) characteristics building just needs good make over

What did you like about your stay in the property or location?
The staff were friendly and helpful. The beds were comfortable and the shower was hot. The location was fab and we liked Gorey a lot.
What did you not like about your stay in the property or location?
I would have really liked access to a washing machine and kitchen/kitchenette or even just a sink to wash fruit and vegetables. The breakfast could be improved with some yoghurt and croissants as it was very basic. We tried to watch a movie in the lounge but the wifi wasn't strong enough.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour avec un bon accueil et un personnel attentif à notre égard.

Nous étions à vélo et la côte pour arriver à l'auberge est particulièrement raide.

j'etais décue par le petit déjeuner un peu trop basique, je pensais avoir a real english breakfeast

Such friendly, helpful staff, easy access at all times. Simple and basic but done well.

Shame that evening food has to be ordered so early. Was tired and hungry on arrival and really pleased to see there was an evening cafe but disappointed to discover you had to have ordered by 10am. Something to be aware of for next time.

It would be useful to have access to a kettle, eg at the water fountain or in games room. This would make the stay perfect.

Free parking, lockable room and pad lockable cupboards, Choice of hot or cold showers, Friendly staff and fellow guests. Close enough to bus station, pub and restaurant. Very quiet area apart from noisy seagulls. Would recommend to active holiday maker looking for an alternative to a costly hotel stay..

Could get a little stuffy in room in hot weather which meant leaving windows open overnight. This is when you'd hear those noisy seagulls mentioned above at 5 am in morning.

The staff were extremely welcoming and polite from the moment I arrived, which made my stay very pleasant. I stayed for four nights and found the location to be perfect — conveniently situated with easy access to buses, making it simple to get around and explore the island. The room was very clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and it was nice and quiet at night, which meant I slept well throughout my stay. The Wi-Fi connection in my room was reliable with strong signal strength. Overall, the hotel offered great value for money, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay.

Really nice location: Gorey and its castle are just a hill descent away with great restaurant choices. Transport equally accessible.

Great location. Staff were very welcoming and accommodating. For a hostel the rooms were perfectly adequate, clean and maintained. Breakfasts were filling with plenty of choices. Dietary needs catered for. Overall, an excellent time was had by all.

What did you like about your stay in the property or location?
Rooms are clean, tidy and comfortable and are allocated so that no one has to share with someone from outwith their party. WiFi is limited to the lounge so it's not available throughout the hostel. Continental breakfast, (uncooked), was tasty and available in sufficient quantity. Would have been 5* but there's no kitchen facility for guests or even somewhere to make a hot drink which I would have welcomed as my ferry was delayed and I arrived quite late.
